The early show was a bit of a bummer, but the late show was surreal. A door led from the street to the back of the stage, and at one point Max Groadie stumbled onto the stage from that door with a guitar and attempted to play SMOKE ON THE WATER through a cigarette amplifier. Meanwhile, some tricked out Daddy-o on the street noticed something interesting was going on through the door, so he opened it only to have Jaime usher him to the front of the stage where he playd bashful for lie 5 seconds and then let loose this rapid-fire spanish raunch-rap that was actually really really good. He could spit! We kicked into hip-hop mode and those in attendance practically swung their shirts and panties on his face. After he finished, he just left through the same door and that was the last we saw from him!

Eschewing our usual "bit" where we play our songs as they appear on the album, We did our songs in the styles of specific genres (i.e. Inoculate the Innocuous- REGGAE, Sea Ghost- RAP, Tuff Ghost- MONSTER MASH-style) Our encore was a photoshoot with a Christmas Tree posterboard and a crazy idiot from the audience shouting seasonal slogans at slack-jawed gawkers.

late friday night, flying into Dallas, TX, then whisked away to Austin where we were scheduled to play the next day (not to mention all days prior). Austin was fun in a sleazy kind of way. Got to see our friends Nardwuar, Dose One, Why?, Buck65, and Pet-tricks after getting outfitted in free jeans and new shoes, then playing a party with Trans Am, and Johnny Knoxville. We did an interview with the BBC, Our sound tech saw Aesop Rock, Gavin Mcinnes was trying to kiss our ass (we wouldn't have it) and Nick swears he made David Cross laugh. That evening we played a show to make up for our lost showcase show. Things seemed blurry- it was kind of a blurry event.
