Is it good? It looked really boring from the trailers but all the reviews seem to think it's brilliant

Blue cat aliens look like shit.
Like something a furry would draw.

everything looks wacky in the still pictures, but seriously in motion everything looks amazing. it was the best moviegoing experience i've had in a long time next to the dark knight i think.

i didnt think it was that good. the storyline was super boring and parts were so corny. but the visuals were mind blowing and the overall feeling of the movie was very nice.

3D IMAX = most entrancing movie I've seen. Ever.

The story did leave lots to be desired. James Cameron wrote it like 12 years ago and didn't seem to change much since then.
Basically Pocahontas in space with machine guns and blue people and fights between helicopters and dragons.

yeah, I thought this would be terrible. But I actually really liked it! I think it needs to be seen in 3d at the cinema though, it's more about atmosphere than characters and story.
